Source text - Vietnamese Hệ thống giao thông đường bộ, đường sắt, đường thuỷ, đường hàng không và đường biển khá thuận lợi. Quốc lộ 1A đoạn qua Bình Định dài 118 km, Quốc lộ 1D đoạn qua Bình Định dài 20,7 km, Quốc lộ 19 qua Bình Định dài 69,5 km, với tổng chiều dài 208 km. Quốc lộ 19 nối liền cảng biển quốc tế Quy Nhơn với các tỉnh thuộc khu vực vùng Bắc Tây Nguyên qua các cửa khẩu quốc tế Đức Cơ, Bờ Y và vùng 3 biên giới Việt Nam- Lào- Campuchia, là một trong những con đường có chất lượng tốt nhất trong hệ thống trục ngang ở miền Trung Việt Nam hiện nay, tạo điều kiện liên kết Đông - Tây, thúc đẩy giao lưu kinh tế, hợp tác phát triển với bên ngoài. Sân bay Phù Cát cách Tp. Quy Nhơn 30 km về phía Tây Bắc, có đường băng rộng 45 mét dài 3.050 mét. Tuyến Quy Nhơn - Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh và ngược lại mỗi tuần có 10 chuyến bay của Vietnam Airlines và 7 chuyến bay của Air Mekong; tuyến Quy Nhơn - Hà Nội và ngược lại mỗi tuần có 6 chuyến bay của Vietnam Airlines. Nhà ga hàng không có công suất 300 hành khách/giờ. Đường sắt Bắc - Nam đi qua Bình Định dài 148 km gồm 11 ga, trong đó ga Diêu Trì là ga lớn, là đầu mối của tất cả các loại tàu trên tuyến đường sắt. Ngoài các chuyến tàu Bắc- Nam còn các chuyến tàu nhanh từ Quy Nhơn đi vào các tỉnh khu vực Nam Trung bộ đến TP Hồ Chí Minh và đi ra đến Nghệ An.
Bình Định có cảng biển quốc tế Quy Nhơn và cảng nội địa Thị Nại, trong đó cảng biển quốc tế Quy Nhơn có khả năng đón tàu tải trọng từ 2-3 vạn tấn, cách Phao số 0 khoảng 6 hải lý, cách hải phận quốc tế 150 hải lý. Hiện cảng có 6 bến với 840m cầu cảng, khoảng 17.680m2 kho, 12.000m3 bồn và trên 200.000m2 bãi.
Bình Định là tỉnh có tiềm năng về kinh tế biển; với chiều dài bờ biển 134km; vùng lãnh hải 2.500km2, vùng đặc quyền kinh tế 40.000km2; có các cảng cá Nhơn Châu, Quy Nhơn, Tam Quan, Đề Gi và khu trú đậu tàu thuyền Tam Quan. Trong các cảng cá nêu trên có cảng cá Nhơn Châu là tốt nhất, có nguồn lợi hải sản phong phú, giá trị kinh tế cao. Sản lượng hải sản khai thác hàng năm khoảng 25.000-33.000 tấn (chưa kể sản lượng khai thác xa bờ). Dự báo đến năm 2010 khả năng khai thác khoảng 110.000 tấn, giai đoạn 2011-2020 khai thác ổn định ở mức 100.000 tấn/năm.
Translation - English The system of road, railway, waterway, airway and seaway is quite favorable. The National Route 1A though Binh Dinh is 118km, the National Route 1D is 20,7 km, the National Route 19 is 69,6 km, with total length of 208 km.
The National Route 19, which connects the Quy Nhon international port with provinces in the north of Central Highlands through international border gates such as Duc Co, Bo Y and Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia border area, now is one of the most qualified roads in the horizontal axis system in the Centre of Vietnam, facilitates the East-west link, boosts the economic exchange and cooperation for the development.
Phu Cat Airport, 30 km to the North West of Quy Nhon city, has the 45-meter-wide and 3.050 –meter-long runway. Every week, there are 10 flights from Vietnam Airlines and 7 flights from Air Mekong through the two way Quy Nhon-Ho Chi Minh city route, 6 flights from Vietnam Airlines through the two way Quy Nhon-Hanoi route. The aviation hub has the capacity of handling 300 passengers per hour. The North-south railway through Binh Dinh is 148 km long, including 11 stations. Among them, Dieu Tri railway station is the biggest one, the hub of all kinds of trains in railway route. Beside North-south trains, there have fast trains from Quy Nhon to the provinces of North Central Region, Ho Chi Minh city and Nghe An.
Binh Dinh has Quy Nhon international seaport and Thi Nai domestic seaport. Quy Nhon international seaport is capable of handling vessels with loading capacity of 20-30 thousand tons, 6 nautical miles from Buoy 0, 150 nautical miles from the international waters. The port presently has six stations with 840 meter wharfs, about 17.680 square meter warehouses, 12.000 cubic meter tanks and more than 200.000 square meter yards.
Binh Dinh bears the potential of marine economy with the coastal length of 134 km, 2.500 sq. km territorial waters, 40.000 sq. km exclusive economic zone; with Nhon Chau, Quy Nhon, Tam Quan fishing ports and Tam Quan anchorage zone. Among above fishing ports, Nhon Chau is considered the best one with the diverse and high-value source of seafood. The annual seafood output is about 25-33 thousand tons (regardless of the offshore fishing output). The exploitation capability in 2010 was estimated to be about 110.000 tons. In 2011-2020, exploitation is stably 100.000 tons per year.
