A Certified Translator, I am an Executive Committee member of ITIA, the Irish Translators and Interpreters Association, a member of the Spanish ASETRAD association and Spanish Honorary Vice Consul. My experience in translating spans three decades.
Now based in Ireland, I have lived in Berlin, Paris and Madrid.
I am a former director of multilingual broadcasting and translation services at Spanish National Radio’s World Service, (REE) and Spanish Delegate-Director of European Radio International a tripartite broadcasting service operating from Brussels. I lectured at the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid.
I have been involved in translating since the 1980s for a wide range of public and private enterprises, international corporations, legal and commercial entities, universities, publishers, film producers, artists and architects. I have translated and edited several books. I specialise in legal texts as well as architecture and art history. |
