My name is Daníel Ingi and I am from Iceland. There I have lived my whole life, in the capital Reykjavík. Recently I finished my third year in English at the University of Iceland, having completed a total of 170 ECTS, with an average grade of 8,56, and as such I am only missing 10 more to be granted a BA degree in the subject. I will complete the missing units next semester as I go on to write my BA thesis, and I plan to continue my learning in the field of translation studies at the MA level.

As it stands, my experience in translations and proofreading / editing is minimal, because I have received no projects. However, I have been translating for friends & family for about 2 years, both from Icelandic to English and English to Icelandic, and today, neither complaints have been made, nor dissatisfaction shown.

Here I would like to gain experience in the aforementioned fields of translations and proofreading and I believe myself to be absolutely capable of completing various assignments, exhibiting professional conduct and respect towards clients along the way.
