As a German native speaker I have been a fulltime freelance translator/editor for 15 years. My language combination is English>German and I specialise in Marketing/Ad Adaptations, Market Research, Press Releases from the fields of IT, Business, Medicine, Media, Automotive and Consumer Electronics. I have also translated several EU projects. My translations are stylistically refined and creative where needed. For the last years, I have mainly worked on marketing projects for Hewlett Packard, CBRE, Airbus, Jaguar, Triumph and have translated/edited business brochures/websites (pharmaceutical, medical, IT). I have completed numerous market research projects and two EU projects.
Lately, I started working for several new market research firms and a global publishing company for which I regularly complete "transcreation" jobs. After my 1. Staatsexamen English from Oldenburg University (including 1 year in the UK), I was trained as a (multi-)media developer, hence my expertise in IT texts. For three years, I worked in the subtitling branch.
