About me

Freelance English-Spanish Sworn Translator.

MOTHER TONGUE: Spanish (Latin American)

Main areas of specialization:

* Business and Finance:
Financial statements and annual reports, foreign exchange transactions, commerce and trading. I translate the annual report of a well-known Bank in Argentina every year.

* Education:
Primary and secondary school manuals, syllabuses, web page contents on education, school progress reports for primary and secondary students, short stories for children, school certificates, student handbooks (including information on attendance, behavior, dressing policies, etc.) I translate progress reports and letters to parents for some school districts in the US on an ongoing base.

* Human Resources:
Employee handbooks, newsletters and memos, information on benefits for employees (including health benefits, social security), training manuals, coaching and management. I translate letters and brochures on employee benefits for several US-based companies (mainly hotels).

* Tourism and leisure:
Web pages for hotels, cabins and inns (in Argentina, Aruba and Mexico). Translation of brochures and other marketing materials. Menus for restaurants.

Other areas:

* Web pages:
I’ve translated many web sites for a Canadian company, among them: digital preservation, website of a laboratory, company dedicated to the manufacture of hosiery, company dedicated to the sale of sexy jewelry, online investments, real estate agents in Florida, beach resort located in Aruba, resort located in Cabo San Lucas (Mexico), company dedicated to color restoration, among others. All of them translated into Spanish.
I’ve also translated some Argentinean sites into English: law offices, real estate site, company dedicated to the manufacture of machines for the meat industry, hotels, cabins and inns in Argentina. I generally translate web sites for two design companies in Argentina. Samples of my work: www.lancuyen.com.ar and www.delarriero.com.ar.

* Legal Documents:
Contracts, letters rogatory, minutes of meetings, deeds, marriage and death certificates, powers of attorney, trademark registrations, sworn translations (certificates, university and secondary school degrees, bank certificates).

* General:
Newsletters, personal and commercial letters, brochures, news releases. I translate newsletters for hotels and companies in the US on a regular basis.
