Following my education I worked a few years in the computer sector in fist level support, network administration and as a web programmer.
I moved to Switzerland and also there I worked with computers as well as working as a freelance writer for a Norwegian magazine. I lived in the German speaking part of Switzerland and German was my everyday language for the seven years I lived abroad.
In 2002 I started to work as a freelance translator. I started out translating mainly computer related material from German and English into Norwegian. As I got more experienced in translating I also took on other kinds of texts.
After moving back to Norway in 2004 I registred my one man translation business in the Norwegian Brønnøysund Register. My reg. nr. is 987 790 385 MVA. I have also decided to explore a bit further into the translation business area and now also offer translations into the other Scandinavian languages.
