My name is Lucy and I am a freelance translator from Spanish, French and Japanese into English (UK and US).
I graduated with a BA(Hons) in Spanish and Japanese from Cardiff University in 2013. During my studies I spent a semester at both the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain and Dokkyo University, Japan. Since then I have been working as a professional freelance translator and have translated hundreds of thousands of words on a variety of topics. I also have worked in retail, finance, sales and administration, and I have previously been a volunteer for human rights and animal welfare charities.
I specialise in financial, legal and technical translations, and I have worked with hundreds of documents for a variety of major international clients, including governments, pharmaceutical firms, cosmetic brands, banks and retail chains.
