Translation Education: Sept. 1994 – April 2000 Studies of French and English general and technical translation at Johannes-Gutenberg-University Mainz, Faculty of Applied Linguistics in Germersheim, Germany. Specialist subject: Law. Degree: Diplom-Übersetzer (Bachelor of Arts)
Professional Experience: Freelance translator since January 2001, working mainly with customers in Europe and the US on a regular basis in the language pairs English and French into German. I'm a sworn translator for the English, French and German language and am therefore permitted to certify the translation of contracts, (technical) certificats and other instruments.
I translate marketing material (e.g. surveys, product and company presentations), technical documentation (e.g. online help and GUIs for software products such as ERP applications) and legal documents (e.g. service contracts, purchase order contracts, trust and licence agreements).
