I have been translating for more than 15 years. A significant part of my experience comes from working for various TV stations, translating series, feature films and documentaries. I've translated technical texts for product sheets and operator's manuals. I also wrote some software products' manuals and product sheets in English. Recently I translated several popular science books.
My experience in IT gives me good understanding of the technology and unique first-hand impressions on the way ordinary users work with technology - what they understand easily and what baffles them. This allows me to provide translations most suitable for the targeted audience, be it professionals or mainstream users. |
