I'm a Japanese linguist and I'm working as a translator about 15 years in Japan. Almost technical translation.
Areas of Specialization; Software (localization, Web), Patent (mechanical), Automobile and Arts. In particular I'm handling now Patent Descriptions.

BTW I'm interested in Calculated Literature. This means the information of novels is computed by scientific methods. In my case I use a logical method such as "Montague Grammer" and "Rough Set" to handle "The Magic Mountain" of Thomas Mann because his style irony can be seen as "Fuzzy reasoning (approximation)". I select "Text Mining" as the computing processing. In addition, I'm seaching now the phonology in the text.

I compared Th. Mann with Ohgai Mori (Japanese author) and regarded the former as modal-multivalued logic and the latter as temporal logic.

Currently I'm searching a Chinese author Luxun's text using a chaos effect, while working as a Japanese teacher in China Wuhan.
