I am Canadian and have lived, studied and worked in Germany for more than 18 years. Languages have been my passion since early childhood, and brought me to Europe. My German is on par with native speakers and I speak it without a foreign accent.
I studied at the University of Freiburg in the fields of German linguistics, English literature and sociology. Here I began translating as part of a student job and continued doing translations for the university, various NGOs as well as for various private clients.
I also completed a teaching degree and have taught English at a German private school.
Since the summer of 2014 I have made translation my full time occupation.
My fields of specialization are those passions I developed during my studies: sociology, education, linguistics, literature, marketing and tourism.
