First Aid and Injuries
Report all injuries or illnesses, no matter how slight, to your supervisor promptly. Report any accident or injury that you witness.
Know the location of and familiarize yourself with the use of emergency equipment in your area, such as safety shower, eye wash, first aid kit, etc.
First aid treatment will be provided from the assigned first aid person on the job site. In cases where further treatment or professional medical treatment is required, the employee shall be taken to the nearest medical facility.
The treatment facility must be given all pertinent information, including company name and address. The employee shall get the designated forms from the office and bring to the facility for admittance.
The injured employee shall bring back a doctor’s statement on condition and report to his/her supervisor. Supervisor will review to determine placement back to full or limited work duty.
All injuries must be reported on the day that the injury occurs. This includes weekends and evenings.
Never move an injured or seriously ill person unless necessary to prevent further injury. Emergency response procedures are posted throughout the jobsite; familiarize yourself with them.

People who want to become your “best friend “over night? At first, these people are extra kind, understanding and gracious to you. They often show an unnatural passion for wanting to be around you and immediately begin to take up space in your life.
At first you may be amazed that s(he) has taken such interest in you. Then as time passes, s(he) becomes demanding. S(he) begins to be around you all of the time, s(he) may get upset if you want to be with other people who care about you, and s(he) may begin to dictate how and who you spend your time with. Before you know what is going on, s(he) has not only taken up your time and energy but she has moved into your life.

Las personas divisoras en nuestras vidas
¿Ha conocido alguna vez a una persona “engañosa”? Ese tipo de gente que es difícil de entender. Gente que sin un motivo aparente desea ser amiga nuestra, ser alguien importante en nuestras vidas. Gente que desea convertirse en el mejor amigo de un día para el otro. Al principio esas personas son demasiado amables, comprensivas y gentiles. Demuestran un interés obsesivo y artificial por estar a nuestro alrededor y comienzan de inmediato a ocupar un lugar en nuestras vidas.
Inicialmente, nos sorprende ver tanto interés por nuestra persona. Luego, a medida que pasa el tiempo, comienzan a tener exigencias. Están siempre con nosotros y se ofenden si queremos estar con otras personas que también se interesan por nosotros y así es como comienzan a dictarnos con quién y cómo debemos pasar nuestro tiempo. Antes de darnos cuenta, ya han ocupado no solamente todo nuestro tiempo y energía, sino que también se han “instalado” en nuestras vidas.
