I graduated from Kent State University with an M.A. in translation in 1995, and lived in Bonn, Germany from 1995-2001 and Salzburg, Austria from 1989-1990. I now live in the U.S. and maintain a German bank account.

I am the current president of the Northeast Ohio Translators Association and an active member of the American Translators Association. I am also a contract linguist for the FBI (with top-secret security clearance) and an adjunct professor at Kent State University. I have taught German translation courses at the graduate and undergraduate level and translation computer courses at the graduate level. I have also taught several Trados seminars.

My areas of specialty include the Internet and computer science (software, HTML, etc.), telecommunications, medicine, pharmaceuticals, genetic engineering, travel and tourism, entertainment (television and film), and marketing and advertising texts.
