I have been working as a
translator/editor/reviewer/proofreader for nearly 15 years with the last 5 years working for a company in the U.S. in medical, health care, social
services, government, legal, education, etc. I do whatever materials the
company receives from its clients. Some examples of materials include materials
for Medicare/Medicaid, insurance materials from different insurance companies,
materials on TANF, CHIP, SNAP, EITC, Supplemental Security Income, and housing
assistance (like Housing Authority of Seatle City, King County, etc.), school
districts, IEPs from regional centers, marketing materials for HIV, TB, Hep B
and C, etc., consented forms for different procedures, educational materials
like stroke handbook, concussion handbook, etc. Medical device/equipment
materials translated for Mathys, Think Surgical, Merck &Co., Inc., Abbort,
Amplexor, etc. in total knee replacement, CT scanner, Hernia System,
Nonabsorbable Synthetic Surgical Mesh, Vertebral Body Replacement, etc. I'm
experienced with translating certificates like birth certificate,
marriage/divorce certificates, degrees, etc.

From 2007 to July 2019, I worked as full time
staff/consultant in FHI 360, a non-government organization in public health on
HIV/AIDS, Clinical Research, Tuberculosis, Dengue Fever, etc. that I have gained a lot of experience in medical and
help me a lot with the translation / editing / proofreading.

I've been using various CAT tools such as
Trados Studio, memoQ, Memsource, Wordfast, XTM, Smartcat, Smartling,
Translation Space, etc.

As a translator/editor, I value accuracy,
promptness, attention to details, responsiveness, reasonableness. I can work on
