New Jersey State’s Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) -  Approved Interpreter, as well as a Certified Court Interpreter for the State of New York’s Unified Court System in English<>Spanish Simultaneous, Consecutive, and Sight Translation modes. Additionally, Translator and Transcriber in the Legal, Governmental, Political, Educational, Health Services and Financial fields. 

I hold a Master’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature.  In addition, I am a member of the American Translators Association (ATA), the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT), and the New York Circle of Translators (NYCT).

I am currently a full-time Staff Interpreter for the State of New Jersey, Essex County Superior Court. In addition, I’m an Intermittent Language Specialist for the United States Department of Homeland Security, a Translator, Transcriber, Quality Assurance Specialist for New York City’s Campaign Finance Board, and a former contract Immigration Court Interpreter for the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review.  

I have taught Consecutive & Simultaneous Interpreting and Elementary Spanish 101 as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and The Graduate School, respectively, at Montclair State University. 

I have over 9 years of professional background in the legal services industry as a Legal Assistant with extensive knowledge of legal and governmental terminology, rules and proceedings, particularly in the insurance defense, real estate and immigration law practices.
