Have done work for Lotus (Lotus cc:Mail, Lotus Notes, Lotus Word Pro, Computer Assisted Education Courses), Sun Microsystems (Solaris 2.5 to 7, Solaris CDE, JavaStudio, SSIE, the docs.sun.com site, HotJava browser, SEAM, SEAS, and many other projects), Intel (Intel VideoPhone), Prentice-Hall (translated most of Tim Ritchey's "Programming with Java!" among other projects), Cognos (Impromptu, Cognos PowerPlay), Novell, and Microsoft, among others, at my current agency.

Knowledge of the Internet; have done HTML and SGML translation. Can write HTML too. Experience with translation memory software (WinJoust, Trados).

Have strong computer science background, with knowledge of many operating systems and programming languages. Worked twice as a computer programmer. Done proofreading of technical and computer projects. Have worked at my current job at Alpnet for over five years (translation, proofreading, DTP, in-house computer maintenance), besides doing freelance work for other agencies in Spain and the US.
