About me
BA (English & Afrikaans/Dutch)
BA(Honn) (Afrikaans/Dutch)
BSc (Pharm) University of Potchefstroom
Creative writer

I work full-time as freelance translator.

Although I specialise in the translation of pharmaceutical and medical texts, I am familiar with a diverse range of subjects. Over the past years I have gained experience in linguistic validation of medical questionnaires, and clinical trial documentation, in particular.

My studies included introductory courses in:
Physics; Chemistry; Zoology; and Botany. For my BA I completed a course in Geography.
Translation of environmental texts forms another important part of my field of expertise.

Being a translator obliges one to constantly remember the importance of conveying the meaning of the text. As linguist I treat words with the care they deserve.
