EDUCATION:
2003: Obtained Institute of Linguists' Diploma in Translation (French-English) with Distinction in all 3 papers (General, Technology, Social Science).
1995: Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies (Pre-doctoral Diploma), Université de Grenoble III, France. Mention très bien.
1989: Master of Arts Honours in French and German, University of Dundee, Scotland. Degree obtained: 2/1 (Upper Second).
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
-Currently working as an in-house translator in a Paris-based international organisation.
-Freelance translator with broad experience, going back to 1990. Particularly experienced in the fields of space, business, stock markets, finance, economics, information technology and mobile telephony.
-Technical Writer with Hewlett-Packard's Business Desktop Division, Eybens by Grenoble, France. Have had a very large number of manuals published in the areas of PC hardware and software and Internet/networking software.
-Technical Writer with Sun Microsystems' International Center for Network Computing, Meylan by Grenoble, France.
-English teacher at Université de Grenoble, France. Taught classes in French-English literary translation.
