My name is Carla and I'm Italian! Although I had only studied French in school, I decided to leave Italy and learn English so I could communicate with the rest of the world. In January 2007, I booked an English school in Australia and started this new journey. After 9 months of English study, I decided to move to Malaysian Borneo and work teaching diving in Sipadan, one of the best scuba spots in the world. I instantly fell in love with this beautiful place; the people of Borneo have been very nice and welcoming with genuine smiles and the weather, the environment and the turquoise sea here are amazing!

I have now been living in Borneo and working for tourist companies for more than 8 years, continuing to practice and develop my English skills. I have now decided to pursue a career as a freelancer, doing a variety of different jobs including tourist consultant, translator, cooking consultant for health diets and pairing wine with menus and more.

I have experience with translating for Tour Operator, commercial, marketing of documents and am happy to work with you to ensure my translation meets your needs.
