About me

I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and German and started translating in 1994, while still a full-time student. It started as a game and a side-job and soon became my passion.
I have been a full-time translator and interpreter ever since and love my job.
In Romania I have obtained certification as a translator for English, German and Romanian, authorized by the Romanian Ministry of Justice. The fields I specialize in are Business (management, marketing, insurance, real estate), Law (patents, contracts) and Medicine (instruments, procedures, cardiology, orthopedy).
In 2001 I came with my family to Canada and have been working with several agencies here and in other countries.
In the past three years in have also been translating video-game scripts and in game text.
I have also teamed-up with another translator who is proofreading my translations into English.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
