This will be introduced by a lecture on contemporary terrorist activities that have occurred in the region followed by a series of discussions that will identify specific needs for change. These changes will be addressed throughout the remainder of this workshop in an attempt to assist the participant's efforts in effectively combating terrorism. This module will also examine the US counterterrorism policy.
