About me

I have been working as a Freelance Translator for the last 10 years. I also worked for the Conference Section at UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) as a freelance translator for 2 years (1985-86).

I have been speaking English since I started school in Mexico City at age 6. I went to live in Paris, France when I was 19 y.o. and stayed there to learn French for a whole year, when I went back to Mexico I completed all the French courses at the IFAL (Institut Français d'Amerique Latine). After that I started to learn Italian at the Dante Alighieri school in Mexico City for one year, because later on I had to move to Nairobi, Kenya to work for UNEP and then married an Italian, so then I started to practice Italian more (talking & reading).

Of course I can speak Spanish, and working for a multi-cultural organization as the UN I can tell the difference between almost all the various meanings of Spanish, spoken in Latin America and Spain.
