About me

I am a Chinese Singaporean, presently working as a journalist/translator with a local Chinese Newspaper. In part-time, I do transltion. I would like to offer English to Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) translation service for you.

As a Singaporean, I received my education in bilingual environment, good in English and excellent in Chinese, which is my native language. I obtained a Diploma in Electronic Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnics (Singapore) as well as a MA in Chinese Language and Literature from Nanjing University (PRC).

My areas of specialization is General, business, technical, marketing, computer and internet and religion (buddhism in particular) translations as well as academic paper translation.

Equipped with Wordfast, and I also have DTP software likes Adobe Pagemaker, MS Word 2000 and MS Publisher.

My rate is very reasonable, standard rate is only US$0.05/source word, a 15% discount shall be given if the total number of words exceed 10000.
However, if you need me to rush for you, I would prefer an rate of $20-35/hour, depend on the type of documents. My minimum rate is $25.

The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
