Translation Service of the University of Vic:
During my last year of college I worked as a freelance translator for the Translation Service of my university.

ADP, Barcelona, Spain. 1997-2000 Translation/Interpretation work. Translation of contracts, documents, manuals and web sites. Worked with the Human Resources Department, Sales Department, and Public Relations Department.

I am originally from Barcelona, Spain. I completed my education in Spain, where I obtained my BA in Translation and Interpretation. I am currently attending the Monterey Institute of International Studies for a Master's in Translation and Localization Management. I am a United States citizen living in California, where I work as a freelance translator and interpreter. My educational background prepared me well for a career as a translator and interpreter. My degree focused on the idea that fluency in two languages does not necessarily produce quality translations. Creating quality translations involves the application of techniques and strategies in translation that many freelance translators have not learned.

Based on my university and professional experience, I am well qualified to handle translations in all fields. I am available for freelance work on site and off site.
I currently work for Cisco on several projects but I have some free time to accept other freelance work including software testing, QA, etc. Please contact me for rates and availability.
