In addition to general translation services from Spanish to English and English to Spanish, I specialize in high-quality translation of legal documents from Spanish to English. Mexican legal Spanish is an area of particular interest and expertise.

I am a practicing attorney in the United States, and have studied law both at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and the Universidad de Guanajuato in central Mexico. In addition to my professional degree in law, I hold academic degrees in Spanish literature and in Latin American studies (with an emphasis on literature and history). In my law practice, I have worked on a wide variety of international projects and traveled frequently abroad. As a result, I have acquired significant experience with the laws and legal vocabulary of Mexico, Guatemala, and Argentina. I also have particular experience with journalistic texts from El Salvador and Peru.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
