The Device Settings Manager defines settings for Pocket PCs and prepares packages in .cab format for distribution using the Distribute Software to Devices Wizard. The installation items included in the Device Settings Manager are compatible with any Pocket PC managed by the Device Management Feature Pack, because the items rely on the Pocket PC technology, and not Windows CE.
The basic steps to create a device settings package are defined below. Each installation item has specific configuration steps to follow, so the configure installation item step will vary for each.

Source text - English Financial markets behaved well on the whole in 2006 despite some of the negative press coverage that they have received. Many investors have been rewarded for investing in risky assets (see chart on next page). The XXXX index, which represents a globally diversified equity portfolio, ended the year in positive territory in US dollar, Euro and Japanese yen terms - outperforming local bond markets, represented by local versions of the YYYY Investment Grade total return indices.
Of course, there were some notable surprises over the year. In May and June, many stock markets suffered a notable correction, as market confidence appeared to make a retreat. This served to highlight the potential events that would most upset the markets: on the one side, the threat of higher interest rates, brought on by deep-rooted inflationary pressures, and on the other side, the threat of a substantial global economic slowdown or outright recession.

Source text - German Vom 13. bis 19. August 2006 fand in Dublin, Irland der im Jahresrhythmus durchgeführte ICoMST-Kongress statt, an welchem rund 460 Personen teilnahmen. Der diesjährige Kon¬gress beinhaltete 25 Vorträge und 333 Poster. Dabei fiel auf, dass ein grosser Teil der The¬men sich vor allem mit Frischfleisch auseinander setzten; bezüglich Fleischprodukte und vor allem dem Einfluss des Rohmaterials wurden nur wenige Arbeiten vorgestellt (trotz eines mittleren Konsumanteiles von rund 50%).
Aufgrund der sehr grossen Vielfalt an Themen kann im Folgenden jedoch nur auf einzelne, aus Sicht der Berichterstattenden interessante Themen eingegangen werden.

Swedish to French: Maskinell plantering får bra betyg Detailed field: Forestry / Wood / Timber
Source text - Swedish Finska skogsforskningsinstitutet har testat Bracke P11.a Planter. Såväl entreprenörer som forskare är mycket nöjda med produkten. I rapporten drar man även slutsatsen att "... högläggning är den enda riktiga markberedningsmetoden vid granplantering." Ett referat av undersökningen återges nedan.
Maskinell plantering får bra betyg
Maskinell plantering ökar år från år. Bräcke planteringsmaskin är den vanligaste och i Finland jobbar i sommar tjugo Bräcke Planter. Finska forskare ger mycket bra betyg åt Bräcke.
Bräcke gör ett bra planteringsarbete. Det visar både finska och svenska forskningar. Skogsforskningsinstitutet i Finland har följt upp resultatet från ett antal förnyelseytor som planterats med Bräcke. Fyra år efter planteringen var 88 procent av plantorna vid liv.
En motsvarande undersökning utförd i Sverige av SkogForsk, visar på ungefär samma plantöverlevnad eller i genomsnitt åttio procent.

Le plantage à la machine est bien perçu
Année après année, le plantage à la machine fait de plus en plus d’adeptes. Les machines à planter de Bräcke sont les plus répandues en Finlande, et en été, une vingtaine d’entre elles y sont à pied d’œuvre. Les chercheurs finlandais ne tarissent pas d’éloges sur Bräcke.
En matière de plantage, Bräcke donne d’excellents résultats. C'est ce que montrent les études tant finlandaises que suédoises. L’Institut de recherches forestières de Finlande a analysé les résultats de plusieurs tentatives de repeuplement effectuées avec du matériel Bräcke. Quatre ans après le plantage, 88 pour cent des plantes étaient encore en vie.
Une étude de même nature effectuée en Suède par SkogForsk aboutit à peu près au même taux de survie, soit environ 80% des plantes repiquées.
