Recap: Country Fair and BBQ 2006 - A stompin' good time was had by all!
This year's XYZ BBQ was another resounding success. Over 750 XYZ employees and their family members enjoyed the festivities which included lots of tasty goodies, ice cold drinks, gifts and activities for the kids, carnival games, a lively animation team, contests, 2 live bands (one featuring our very own XYZ employees), and over 60 door prizes. More than 70 volunteers worked with the Human Resources department to make this huge undertaking come together.

Le barbecue XYZ de cette année a encore été un grand succès. Plus de 750 employés XYZ et leurs familles ont participé aux festivités qui comprenaient beaucoup de bonne bouffe, des boissons glacées, des cadeaux et des activités pour les enfants, des jeux de carnaval, une équipe d’animation énergique, des concours, deux groupes de musique (dont une mettant en vedette nos propres employés XYZ) et plus de 60 prix de présence. My name is Nicole Levesque, and I have been working as a translating clerk/secretary since 1988. In 1995, I completed a diploma specialising in the medical secretarial field, in which I have been working since 1997. Before that, I have also worked for the Canadian national Defence Department, where my most outstanding achievements were the translation of broad distribution documents, since official Canadian publications must be written in both official languages.
For the last couple of years, I have also been doing legal transcriptions, in French and/or English. My main duty in all the jobs I occupied was translating. I was raised in both languages.
I have the ability to translate from one language to the other very easily, all the while getting into the context for a more accurate translation.
I am therefore at ease with virtually all fields of redaction, be it medical, technical or general.
