三菱自動車は、コンパクトカー『コルト』（1.3L、1.5L）にスポーツドライビングを楽しめる高性能コンパクトスポーツ『コルトRALLIART Version-R（ラリーアート バージョンR）』（5MT車/CVT車、1,974,000円、消費税込）を設定して、5月30日（火）から全国の系列販売会社より発売する。
また、コンパクトワゴン『コルトプラス』に設定のスポーティグレード『コルトプラスRALLIART（ラリーアート）』（CVT車、1,827,000円、消費税込）も一部改良して、同時に発売する。
今回の『コルトRALLIART Version-R』は、従来の『コルトRALLIART』に代えて設定。より本格的なスポーツドライビングを楽しみたいお客様を対象に、お買い求めになりやすい価格で高性能コンパクトスポーツを提供。長年にわたるモータースポーツ活動を通じて培ったノウハウを随所に注ぎ込み、従来のCVT車に加えてゲトラグ社製5MT車を設定し、エンジンの高性能化、ボディの高剛性化、サスペンションのスポーツチューニング、16インチ・ハイグリップタイヤの採用など運動性能を高める改良を随所に施し、スポーティな内外観とした。

Mitsubishi Motor Corporation is launching "Colt RALLIART Version-R”, a high performance compact sporty 5MT/CVT car, at all affiliated distribution companies in Japan from 30 May. Priced at 1,974,000 yen (inclusive of consumption tax), Colt RALLIART is the sporty version of the compact car Colt (1.3L, 1.5L).
Mitsubishi will also launch “Colt Plus RALLIART”, the revamped sporty version of the compact wagon “Colt Plus”, on the same day. It is a CVT model, priced at 1,827,000 yen (inclusive of consumption tax).
“Colt RALLIART Version-R” is set to replace the old “Colt RALLIART”. The new high performance sports car is targeted at customers who want to enjoy a more authentic sporty drive at an affordable price. Using the know-how accumulated over many years of experience in motor sporting events, a Getrag 5MT model is available in addition to the conventional CVT model. Colt RALLIART has a sporty exterior and interior appearance. Its enhanced driving performance is brought about by the high performance engine, high body rigidity, sports tuning of the suspensions and the use of 16 inch high grip tires.
