About me
(Greetings!, visitor from or currently using a PC whose ISP connection originates in .)ENGLISH < == > SPANISH

As a translator for a worldwide audience, I aim at "neutral" (international) Spanish that can be easily understood by a North-American, Latin American or European audience (areas where Spanish is the native language or is at least commonly known), but I can also succesfully produce either version, because my personal background includes native status and/or permanent residence in, as well as frequent contact with, Latin America and Spain.

I am mainly specialized in: software localization (translation). Although my university studies were in Comparative Literature and languages (English, Spanish and French), they include one full year of computer-related studies (programming and hardware), which has greatly helped me maintain a software-savvy attitude and up-to-date curiosity in this industry.

I also have ample experience in various other subjects, but I am mostly interested in:

Technical manuals (user guides)
Marketing/Advertising/Copywriting
Newspaper articles
Literary texts

I also have verifiable experience in:

Production of voice sound files
(in various European languages, with native speakers).
For example, for PowerPoint presentations and webinars (web seminars).

Some of the most known end-clients for which I work/have worked (through translation agencies) are:
IBM, Adobe, Autodesk, Oracle, Microsoft, People Software, Hewlett-Packard,
Daikin, Sears, Honda, Stanley, Office Depot
, etc...

Further information about myself can be obtained by requesting a copy of my fully-detailed CV/resumé (in PDF or Word format).
