Translation Project Management

I am a translation project manager, with 7 years of experience at a software company. I obtain expert translations, while keeping even complex projects on schedule. My areas of expertise are software, websites (HTML) and user's manuals, but I am very flexible and learn quickly.

Translation Skills

I am a native speaker of American English, with fluency in French and familiarity with several other languages, including Russian and Japanese. I am accredited by the ATA in French>English translation. I have completed a course in French>English translation at Binghamtom University. In translating, I draw upon my years of English editing experience to provide a polished final product. As a result, I am sensitive to non-native constructions, as well as formatting issues.

English Editing Skills

I am an experienced English editor. I spent a year in Russia editing the English translations of journals of the Russian Academy of Sciences for non-native English constructions. In addition, I gained years of editing experience while working at a software company. I am very familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style, but can quickly adapt to any style guide.
