Vilnius is the city where we use 4 languages in our everyday life, namely Lithuanian, Russian, English, and Polish.
Due to that fact translators (me among them) have to preserve their target languages to be free of concurrent languages impacts. Being Russian native speaker I constantly read as much Russian literature as I can, and constantly watch how people speak. Rather interesting.
We are revitalizing the Lithuanian Translators Guild. I am one of its founders and Board member.
My other professional and voluntary jobs include collaboration with author of Metatexis package. I translate Metatexis Manual into Russian and one can find its beta-version at www. metatexis.com and local translators training.
Both major education and experience allow me to translate the texts belonging to above-mentioned areas.
