Such factors include: recruitment of leading doctors, establishment of contractual arrangements with mutual societies, management of occupancy rates for services, fees applied, publicity, marketing, management of seasonality, incorporation of new specialities, etc. Addressing all of these variables requires a strategic plan that prioritizes needs, assesses required resources, and establishes performance indicators for defined objectives.

Texts published in corporate or industry publications play a vital role in building and reinforcing a company’s image. The same principle applies to the content of web sites. The way language is used in such texts transmits many messages about a company and the products or services provided. I work hard to ensure that these messages are the right ones. This means taking the time to produce a translation that sounds natural and is at least as effective as the source text from which it is created.

My experience in these areas covers a wide range of text types and subject matter, including: audit reports, business valuations, due diligence reviews, outsourcing of services, analysis of labour risks, the 2005 Sustainability Report for the Agbar Group, reports submitted to public bodies in Spain to justify plant closures and relocations, a plan for accompanying social measures (collective redundancy dismissals), a study on the effects of EU enlargement on the Spanish economy, articles and research proposals for the IESE Business School, and a report on a local economic development initiative.
