Legal and Technical Translator

Over 6 years’ experience in the translation, revision and language services, working as full time translator for the industrial sector for a leading mechanical company.

360° experience in the marketing, localisation and IT sector for various translation companies worldwide, whose clients range from Hertz to HP, Fiat, Castorama, Sun Microsystems, ST Microelectronics, etc.

Currently working also for three highly reputed sector magazines as translator of articles and proofreader. These magazines are focused on technical (transportation), biology (aquariology) and medical (dentistry) issues.

Daily work includes the translation of technical /engineering papers, press releases, contracts and legal terms and conditions, user manuals, product catalogues and software programmes, medical articles.

Extensive experience in the translation of documents based on EU standards and directives (Lifts Directive, Machinery Directive).

Translations of books by American writer Diana Walstad: Ecologia dell’acquario di piante (Ecology of the planted Aquarium) www.aquaedi.info/release/books.aspx, and ongoing translation of other books by Anthony Calfo.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
