Since 2002, I have provided my services to many agencies and private clients in different subject areas. My main specialisations are: localisation (software, websites and games), business and marketing, tourism and environment. In addition, I also carry out occasional work in the fields of fashion, cosmetics, public service and food and drink, as well as general interest texts. Examples of past experience include:
- Translation of a large database on environmental, social and political issues for the EU.
- Localisation of numerous videogames across all genres and platforms: PS3, Xbox, Wii, etc.
- Localisation of websites promoting tourism in London, Paris and New York.
- Search engine optimisation of numerous websites for prestigious clients.
- Translation of the new clothing range of a well-known outdoor clothing retailer.
- Translation of a company’s workshop on stress management.
- Translation of training material for the employees of a market-leading transport company.
- Ad-hoc interpreting in immigration centres, jobcentres, benefits agencies and prisons.
- Managed localisation projects involving up to 13 languages for the games industry.
I am highly specialised in the videogames field, after having worked 5 years in-house for one of the market leaders, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and having translated and reviewed multiple games on a freelance contract. Throughout my career, I have collaborated as a translator, editor and QA specialist in countless titles for several platforms (PS2, PSP, PS3, Wii, Xbox, PC, iPhone, Facebook applications, etc.), such as The Eye of Judgment, Lair, Tekken: Dark Resurrection and Hellgate. I have a keen eye for detail and I am very enthusiastic, always striving to produce work of the highest quality, respecting platform-specific terminology.
I am also the Director of MediaLoc, a company specialised in offering videogames localisation services that has already attracted interest from some of the major players in the industry as well as other well-known translation companies. Whilst FIGS are our main working languages, we have managed projects with up to 14 languages. For more information, please visit www.medialoc.net
In-house Localisation Lead Tester, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (2005-2008)

Some of the tasks including translating and testing titles in my language, ensuring the quality of the localised versions in the other languages, liaise with producers and developers and assist in the recruitment process.
This position gave me an excellent insight into the localisation industry and its processes. Some of my projects include F106 (PS3, PSP and PS2), The Eye of Judgment (PS3), SingStar (PS3), Killzone: Liberation (PSP) and SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals: Combined Assault (PS2).
