Postoperative Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully

Only follow the instructions that your doctor has marked with a checkmark.
Ignore the other instructions.


For the next 24 hours, you should not
1. drive a vehicle, ride a bike or operate machinery or power tools.
2. Consume alcohol, including beer.
3. Make important personal or business decisions or sign important documents.



Take your pain medicine as prescribed by your doctor

You may also take extra-strength Tylenol in combination with your pain medicine, or instead of it.

Avoid drugs like Aspirin, Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen, or Naprosyn (NSAIDS) during the first two weeks after surgery. These medications may cause increased bruising.

Apply an ice pack to help reduce pain and swelling.

Try to elevate the operative limb as much as possible to reduce swelling.

Do not take more than 2 narcotic pills every 4 hours.

Contact your doctor if the pain medicine does not adequately control your pain

Contact your doctor if you have fever greater than 101°F

अपने डॉक्टर की सिफारिश के अनुसार दर्द की दवा लें।

आप दर्द की अपनी दवा के साथ या इसकी जगह अतिरिक्त शक्ति की टाइलेनॉल भी ले सकते हैं।

सर्जरी के बाद पहले दो सप्ताहों के दौरान एस्प्रिन, माट्रिन, एडविल, ब्रुफेन या नेप्रोसिन जैसी दवाएं न लें। इन दवाओं से ज़ख्म बढ़ सकता है।


दर्द और सूजन में कमी करने के लिए बर्फ की पोटली रखें।

आपरेशन वाले भाग को उठाने का प्रयास करें, जिससे सूजन न हो।

प्रत्येक 4 घंटे में संवेदना को मंदा करने वाली 2 से अधिक गोलियां न लें।

यदि दर्द की दवा से आपका दर्द पर्याप्त रूप से कम नहीं होता, तो अपने डॉक्टर से सम्पर्क करें।
यदि आपको 101°F से अधिक बुखार हो, तो अपने डॉक्टर से सम्पर्क करें।

What is Down’s syndrome?



There is no such thing as a typical person with Down’s syndrome. Like all
people, they vary a lot in appearance, personality and ability. People with
Down’s syndrome have learning difficulties.



Some have more serious difficulties than others. It is hard to tell in babies
how much they will be affected as children, or when they are grown up. Some
adults with Down’s syndrome are able to get jobs and live fairly independent
lives. However, most people with Down’s syndrome need long-term help and
support.



A number of health problems are linked to Down’s syndrome. But again, people
vary, and some people with Down’s syndrome enjoy good health.


There is no such thing as a typical person with Down’s syndrome.

Problems which are linked with Down’s syndrome include heart problems and
reduced hearing and vision. Many of the problems can be treated, and frequent
health checks can make sure that any problems are picked up as early as
possible. Most people with Down’s syndrome live to be 50 years of age and some
live to be over 70. Alzheimer’s disease (a form of senile dementia) may affect
people with Down’s syndrome at an earlier age than other people.

कुछ लोगों में अन्यों की तुलना में ज्यादा गम्भीर समस्याएं होती हैं। शिशुओं में यह
बताना कठिन होता है कि वे बच्चे के रूप में या बड़े होने पर इससे कितने प्रभावित
होंगे। डाउन संलक्षण से पीड़ित कुछ व्यस्क नौकरियां पाने और बिल्कुल स्वतंत्र जीवन
जीने में सफल हो जाते हैं। पर डाउन संलक्षण से पीड़ित अधिकांश लोगों को लम्बी अवधि
की सहायता और मदद की ज़रूरत होती है।






डाउन के संलक्षण से अनेक स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं जुड़ी हुई हैं। पर एक बार फिर लोग
भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकार के होते हैं और डाउन संलक्षण से पीड़ित कुछ लोगों का स्वास्थ्य
अच्छा होता है।


डाउन संलक्षण से ग्रस्त किसी व्यक्ति में विशिष्ट व्यक्ति जैसी कोई बात नहीं होती।

Install and Start the NT Agents
To install the NT agents, you run the Agent Installation program from the Windows NT machine where you will run the agents. If the NT agents will be located on separate NT machines (for example, the MTA on one machine and the POA on another), you need to run the Agent Installation program on both machines.

1. If you are running the Migration Advisor from a NT workstation, the NT Agent Install dialog box appears prompting you whether or not to install the SmartWise agents to the current workstation. Click Yes Install to install the agents on the workstation continue with step 2.

   
   

2. Click Windows NT Next to display the Installation Path dialog box.
   

   



3. Enter the path to the directory where you want the agents installed (worksheet item 18) click Next to display the Language dialog box.
   

   



4. Select the languages you want to install (worksheet item 19) click Next.
