I am working with translations from several languages into Swedish and from Swedish into English. I am a native Swede and I have been working as a freelance translator since 1997.
I have a B.A. degree in Linguistics and classical languages from Lund University.
I believe that my skills as a translator are fairly all-round but have come to gravitate toward the technical sector, especially IT, electronics and telecom.
I have extensive experience in working with software localization, translating large software and web projects.
I use several CAT tools such as (several versions of) Trados, SDLX and Wordfast and I can work with most common document types; MS Office, PDF, HTML etc. I am also used to working with text stored in a database or embedded in programming or mark-up languages.
I am also doing a significant amount of work on medical/technical translation.
