On the job, your installer will:
Arrange delivery of your new flooring
Move basic household furniture
Prepare for installation, including minor scraping and sweeping
Undercut door jambs as necessary
Install flooring, including any required underlayment (where noted)
Remove and haul away any existing flooring (except vinyl)
Install transitions from your new flooring to other rooms
Clean up once the job is done
Call to verify that you’re satisfied with the installation
Here’s how the process works:
1 An installer comes to your home to measure square footage and incidentals.
2 A Lowe’s associate then calls you with a cost estimate.
3 Upon approval, you purchase flooring and installation together.
4 You receive a signed contract and important information about what to expect.
5 A Project Manager takes over and manages the project much like a general contractor.
6 The installer calls you within two business days to schedule your installation.
7 The Project Manager follows up to confirm that the date and time are convenient for you.
8 Installation begins.
9 After project is complete, the installer confirms your satisfaction.
10 You receive two more follow-up calls: one from our Project Manager to verify your satisfaction and one asking you to complete a brief phone survey that enables us to rate the installer.
