As I have worked for the motor industry as an interpreter over a long-term project in all departments such as paintshop, plastics, utilities, health and safety, quality, on assembly line, logistics, reception of goods, calibration, I specialise in this field.
I also translate health related data, medical equipment, textile, food, company profile documents. I am presently working for the NHS as a community interpreter in surgeries and hospitals for French speaking asylum seekers and refugees.
I also work regularly for the immigration advisory service in Derby and for solicitors on asylum seekers cases and Refugee Action as a telephone interpreter. My latest interpreting assignment was in May 2008 in a bolt factory.
As I work for the NHS I am constantly in contact with consultants and therefore able to check information. | Keywords: motor industry, medical, textile, food, human rights
