About me

As an experienced and qualified freelance translator, I offer specialist translating services from German, French and Italian into English. My specialities include marketing, PR, information technology (particularly software and online services), human resources (HR) and tourism. I am renowned for my fluent, natural style combined at all times with attention to accuracy and detail.

As well as holding postgraduate qualifications in both translation and marketing (and the 2003 SEL Prize for Translation), I can also draw on over 15 years’ experience of using language skills in my previous business career largely in the IT, Internet, and HR sectors. This has given me a real understanding of the way language is used in a number of specialist fields.

While I am not currently working full-time as a freelance translator, as I have recently returned to university to study for a PhD in Translation Studies, I am eager to work with outsourcers during the summer period and at other agreed times.
