I see myself as truly European, with my origins in the North and heart in the South, as I was born and grew up in Sweden, came to France to study (French, Fine Arts, English) but stayed for 15 years....enjoying as much the beauty of the sceneries as the extremely international environment of the Côte d'Azur....
And now, living in Milan, realizing the dream of living in Italy to learn Italian and be closer to all the history, art, food and way of living there is to discover here...
My family is, of course, bilingual...Swedish and French, our circle of friends of various nationalities and we also take part in different Scandinavian, French and international associations.
Workwise I am specialized in the translation of documentation and medical studies and surveys for pharmaceutical companies, working mostly from English source texts. In that area I work as well with translation as proofreading, cognitive debriefing and reviewing for the validation of the translations.
I do some translation of marketing scripts, films and other creative texts, which I enjoy a lot. Other areas I have had the opportunity to translate within are technical (user manuals), legal (contracts for real estate, mortgages), food business etc.
