Source text - English (15) Two-phase implants are implanted in the classical method, called “CIM”-Classical Implantation Method. In this procedure, the top of the mucosa must first be opened. (16) Then, a shaft is drilled into the jawbone into which the implant will be inserted. The diameter of the shaft corresponds to the diameter of the implant. Therefore, it must first grow in—with the upper jaw, we estimate six months, and with the lower jaw, three months. Only then can the upper part of the implant be screwed into the lower part; for most systems, the mucosa must be surgically reopened. (17) From a medical point of view, these two-phase implants are characterised by two weaknesses: The internal screw can dissolve or break and then there is the danger of bacterial penetration in and around the gap between the threads, screw and head area. Both can lead to a loss of the implant For patients, a two-part implant means a treatment time which can extend over many months, and in the meantime they must live with a temporary implant. And also the operation itself is a significant burden with follow-on swelling in the face, which can last for several days. You can also surely imagine that an operation with the opening of the jawbone is not only painful, but that there is always the risk of a bacterial infection because the bones remain exposed during an operation that can last up to two hours. (18) An implantation technique with the lowest possible burden for patients, which also minimises risk that they could lose the implant at a later point in time, is the MIMI design, the minimally-invasive method for implantation which is tied with one-piece implants. Such implants proceed in a completely different way. (19) In order to deploy it, the mucosa is generally not cut. Rather, only a small shaft is drilled through the mucosa, which is significantly smaller in diameter than the implant itself. The experts call this “trans-gingivally,” drilled into the bone. Then the cone-shaped implant is screwed in manually and slowly. When screwing in, the bone around it is compressed, so that the implant is firmly in place immediately and can immediately take load. Therefore “healing” in the classical sense is not necessary. (20) The bones are therefore not laid open, and a bacterial infection is therefore almost impossible. Many dental practices complete the MIMI implantation and prosthetic treatment within two weeks, that is, 14 days after setting the implant in their jaw, the final prosthetic care is completed. This time period applies for individual tooth implants as well as for full prosthesis. You therefore do not need to live for months with a temporary implant—that is particularly reassuring if you have a missing front tooth which needs to be replaced—and this is important for everyone, not just for actors or politicians who are in the public eye. Because the MIMI concept has so many advantages as compared to a classical implant with a two-part procedure, we would like to show you the method in this film exclusively in comparison with the Champion implantation. On the other hand, more and more dentists are working with normal to heavy smokers, despite the poorer blood supply to the jawbone, with one-piece implants. It has been shown in the past that the in growth statistics are nearly identical with those of non-smokers. (22) The actual implementation is pretty unspectacular. First, the dentist desensitises with an anaesthetic spray into the gums and then lets it set. You hardly feel the anaesthesia. The next steps sound worse than they actually feel to the patient: (23) Using a small drill, your dentist mills a hole through the gums into the jawbone and then turns the implant gently, first with his or her hand, then with a special tool. The entire implantation lasts only a few minutes per tooth, and even patients with dental phobia do not find it painful or particularly uncomfortable. The dentist then checks for the proper seating of the implant by using an X-ray. (24) Then, the dentist will draw up a print so that the prosthetics laboratory, which prepares the actually visible teeth, can prepare the tooth. As a transitional arrangement until the next appointment, which is, as a rule, one week later, you will receive a plastic temporary filling. In addition to a lot of craft skill and laboratory experience, the laboratory uses the latest 3-D scanners and automated CNC milling machines to mill your dentures from zirconium oxide, titanium or other approved materials. Some laboratories also have over-milling, which can provide complete prostheses from a single piece. (29) A prosthodontic restoration—whether a design for an implant, a bridge, or an inlay—is fine craftsmanship in the truest sense of the word. For instance, in France, even outside Paris, ridership increased by 12% between 2006 and 2008. The issue of capacity increase has made its way to the top of the strategic agendas of public transport operators and authorities. There is no doubt that high fuel prices played an important role but it seems that shifting to public transport is also part of a new life style, with a greater consciousness of the environmental footprint of mobility. The deterioration of traffic conditions in cities, with increasing congestion and parking difficulties, also promises the end of the love affair with the private car. In parallel, the role of public transport as a major driver of economic and sustainable development has been increasingly acknowledged. In many cities and countries, modal shift has become part of the development strategy: Geneva set out to double public transport ridership by 2020, Toronto to increase it by 130% within 25 years, and Beijing to raise the modal share of public transport to 45%. Then came the financial and economic crisis. Although its impact on public transport has not been as abrupt as it has been on other sectors of the economy, figures show that the growth in demand has slowed significantly in the last six months in some countries and that most expect that demand will stagnate in 2009. Some public transport operators are even reluctantly considering cutting some services or increasing fares. Some developments projects are stopped, others postponed. The implementation of PPP (Public Private Partnership) projects has been slowed considerably. However, getting through the crisis is not the biggest challenge for public transport but it is rather to be able to play its role in the longer term. While the car industry has been strongly affected since the beginning of the crisis, the relative resilience of public transport has put it out of the spotlight in recovery plans. Some limited support was included in plans developed at regional level but there is little or no mention of public transport in national plans, except in the US ($8bn for public transport). The lack of trust in the financial markets makes it more difficult to obtain commitments for long periods as required by public transport investment projects. If both public and private sources of financing for public transport are strained, the risk is that public transport will not be able to absorb the increasing demand in the coming years. While the car industry is currently facing overcapacity, public transport critically needs to build up its capacity. Policy decisions must echo these emerging trends towards more sustainable mobility patterns. Failing that, the interest shown in public transport will fade away, leading to more congestion, higher fuel prices, worsening climate change. Support to public transport in urban areas will help slow urban sprawl and make cities more dynamic. Supporting public transport is supporting a long term sustainable vision for society, in line with the Global Green New Deal, but that it can also help short term recovery efforts. A lot of public transport projects are "shovel ready". Planned projects could be accelerated and other projects, for instance to support intermodality, could be implemented fast. Investment in public transport creates jobs more quickly than the restructuration of the car industry. In addition, a recent study confirmed that public transport creates about 20% more jobs than the same investment in building roads or motorways. Developing public transport is not only about the recovery but it is also about the future. Source text - English INSPECTION REPORT TO THE SHAREHOLDERS OF xx NATIONAL PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY (xxxx) (A SAUDI JOINT-STOCK COMPANY) ON THE INTERIM FINANCIAL STATEMENTS Scope of Inspection We have conducted limited inspection to the interim financial statements of xxx National Petrochemical Company (xxx ) (“Company”) (A Saudi Joint-Stock Company) as on 31 Dec 2009, the interim income statement during the three months period and the year ended as on 31 Jun 2009, the two cash flow statements during the Changes in the interim rights of the shareholders for the year then ended. The statements were prepared and submitted to us by the Company management with all information and data we requested. We conducted a limited review pursuant to the standards issued by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants regarding the interim financial information. The limited review primarily entails analyzing procedures applied to the financial data and making inquiries with the persons responsible for financial and accounting matters within the Company. This review is significantly narrower in scope than an audit conducted pursuant to the generally accepted auditing standards whose primary objective is to express an opinion about the financial statements as a whole. Accordingly, we express no such opinion. Inspection Result Based on our limited inspection, there appear to be no material adjustments needed to the accompanying interim financial statements to bring them in compliance with the accounting standards generally accepted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I’ve a Bachelor’s degree of Arts in English (B.A.) from the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Al Azhar University, Cairo, 2002.

I have lived in Qatar and Saudi Arabia as well as Egypt (my home country), which allowed me to acquire a good grasp of the hues and shades of meaning in different Arabic dialects.

I am particularly good at translating from and to English while ensuring that the correct meaning of the original is retained, that legal, technical or scientific works are correctly rendered and that the phraseology and terminology of the spirit and style of literacy works are conveyed as far as possible.
