I have a decade of translation experience in Spanish and English, and the many years of intensive language training have given me a keen eye for detail and an intuitive knowledge of how languages work. Additionally, I have taken three graduate translation courses and have received an A in each.

I enjoy translating just about anything, particularly legal and literature translations. I went to high school in Argentina and spent two years in college in the Basque Country. This international background enables me to appreciate different dialectical differences and understand the nuances of translation in Spanish, taking into account regional differences.

My husband is from Spain and I am from the United States, and we translate as a team. We feel that we create the most faithful and correct translation, spending hours together surrounded by dictionaries in search of the perfect word. We are detail oriented, professional and maintain strict adherence to deadlines. We believe in maintaining close contact with our clients and will always communicate when we need clarification.

One of our best qualities as translators is that we know when to ask for help. We have consulted doctors, mechanics, waiters and even boxers to ascertain that we are using the correct terminology for our translation. One of our favorite words in ETHICS and we believe that it is our ethical responsibility to create the best translation possible, so that the target text reflects the source text in both grammar in tone. We are both university students and translation enables us to have enough time to study and do what we love most...create understanding.
