Per year, I translate and proofread around 400,000 words.
Sixty per cent of the documents I translate are within the field of business and commerce, such as articles of association, tender documents, various types of contract (employment, real estate, purchase agreements, etc), annual reports, financial reports, merger and acquisition documents, technical specifications, etc.
Thirty-five per cent of documents comprise legal texts, judgments, apostilles, various types of legislation (directives, resolutions, orders, etc.) and civil and criminal law related texts.
Other texts include archaeological and historical articles for publication.
I offer a high-quality, and reliable translation, editing and proofreading service with a realistic, yet rapid, turnaround time, using the latest CAT tools.
I am also a qualified Linguist and a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I specialise in teaching business and legal English. I have worked with many professionals ranging from bankers to air traffic controllers to improve their understanding of, and ability to communicate effectively in, the English language.
I am a member of the Brighton and Hove Archaeological Society, a member of the Royal Yachting Association and a qualified Day Skipper.
I enjoy yacht cruising and racing and playing the saxophone.
