I have lived in the United States and Egypt over an equally divided period of time and posess an excellent command of both English and Arabic; written and spoken. Besides the linguistic understanding of these languages, my most apparent and powerful ability is bi-cultural interpretation and integration. It was by Providence, even though I am an Egyptian born Cairene, that I learned English in The United States before being subjected to the Arabic language at the later age of 13. Being only 12 months old when my father immigrated to the States, my early childhood is intertwined with American culture and memories of slang phrases and idioms. Due to employmet with my father at the start of my professional career, I was also constantly involved in international business transactions and travel for over 14 years.

As for translation and especially localization capabilities, I am able to provide a very accurate and concise understanding and reproduction of terms and concepts often misunderstood or dropped when attempting to translate from Classical Arabic to English, thereby retaining the essence and soul of the original message. I am also highly skilled in religious and literary render.

I had been in the field of Pedagogy as a High School teacher of English in various American Diploma schools in Egypt for over 6 years and finally took the plunge into professional Freelancery fairly recently. My emphasis in work is always and foremost on precision and contextual accuracy, without which a linguist would be at a loss. Punctuality, reliability and a consideration of time restraints are also my forte.
