The place where translation meets high-technology


With background knowledge and translation experience in many technical fields, I would consider myself eligible for the translation of a wide range of technical, technical-related, scientific texts. Because of my technical background, I specialize on texts relating to automotive, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, IT, telecommunications and technical manuals. I am also experienced in translating marketing texts and literature.


High technical education

M.A. in Physics, University of Bucharest

In 2005 I obtained a permanent position as a researcher at National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering, Bucharest, Romania.

Between 2003 and 2006 member of LHCb team (Large Hadron Collider beauty experiment), CERN, the European particle-physics centre near Geneva, Switzerland.

2009 Translation Quality Management Course according to ISO 9001, Aatranslations, Europe's language leader, Madrid, Spain


So, in 2010 I have become Tekom member. Tekom is an international association of translation professionals (mostly technical specialists). The main focus of this association is on the promotion and enhancement of technical documentation, including technical translation and localisation.
Tekom has admission criteria.

I manage my projects with DIN EN 15038 certified software.
