Diverse working/educational background spanning over 25 years. Ten years experience as bilingual paralegal in landlord-tenant and real estate law, public and subsidized housing regulations, mental health and Medicare advocacy. Fourteen years (and counting) as full-time staff translator/project manager coordinating translations in the areas of government benefits (such as food stamps, SSI, TANF, and Medicaid), long-term care for elderly and people with disabilities, early childhood intervention, child and adult protection, etc. Insightful and careful editor (especially for English to Spanish). Master-level studies in Colombian university. Special interest in herbology, natural medicine, Tarot and the occult.
