Japanese to English: American dream at risk Detailed field: Business/Commerce (general)
Source text - Japanese Nowadays the old American dream of owning your own home outright can seem like just that: a dream. For reasons good and bad, Americans are increasingly carrying mortgage debt later in life. Retirees or soon-to-be retirees who haven't factored these mortgage payments into their retirement plans could need to come up with some extra income. (from Business Week)
Translation - English
Detailed field: Business/Commerce (general)
Translation - English Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd has announced on 5th of this month that it has lost data on about 960 thousand customers – ATM transaction records and sales slips – from 85 branches and local offices throughout Japan. It believes that the data were accidentally discarded with other records; there is very little risk of such information getting into hands of outsiders; and no fraudulent use of the data has been reported as of now. However, with recent barrage of reports of massive customer information leakage, their information management is expected to face public scrutiny. (The Asahi Shimbun)
