AUTOMOTIVE/ENGINEERING
The steady increase in the size and power of electricity distribution systems not only makes more power available to the consumer in normal operation, it also raises the short-circuit level. It is therefore extremely important to adequately protect electrical plant against overload, to handle high short-circuit currents and to selectively isolate the affected section of the power system in case of a fault. In the case of a short-circuit the stress on the switchgear as well as on other system components can be reduced substantially if the short-circuit current can be cut off before it has a chance to reach a high level.

افزایش روز افزون د ر حجم و قوت نظام توزیعاتی برق نه تنها اینکه برق را د ر د سترس صارفین بیشتر قرار داده, بلکه سبب افزایش تصا دفات شارتی برق هم شده است. بر اسا س همین واقعت بسیار مهم است که از انبار کرد ن د ستگاه برق بشکل مؤثر جلوگیری شود، بقسم که بتوانیم شارتی های بزرگ را زیر د ست آورده و در وقت حادثه قسمت های متأثر شده را بصورت مشخص جدا بسازیم. با بروقت قطع نمودن قسمت شارت شده، میتوانیم فشار وارده بالای (سوچ گئر) و اجزاء دیگردستگاه را تا حد زیاد کم کنیم.
