About me

A recent Ph.D. and author of published translations, I combine the intellectual and research abilities necessary for dealing with specialized terminology with strong writing skills in my native (American) English.

My source languages of Spanish and German have been acquired by long periods of residence and study in Spain and Germany, bringing a supplementary knowledge of cultural contexts important for any translation.

My recent experience consists of translating documents or various types, with a preponderance of legal texts, but also including everything from cultural events to medicine, technology and advertising. (Please consult my CV for more details.)

I have a strong interest in literary translations, of which I have several in progress, and I am glad to help with translations to and from Latin, no matter how small.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
