Being a native German speaker, I completed my studies as a foreign language correspondent for German, English and French (“Staatlich geprüfte Fremdsprachenkorrespondentin in Englisch, mit Zweitsprache Französisch”) in 1990 and then made a career working for international trading companies - both in responsible positions and as a teacher for English courses at various levels of age and knowledge. During this time I gained a deep insight and more than 15 years’ experience in the fields of

> Office Equipment
> Micrographics
> Automobile Industry
> and the Medical / Biological / Zoological Sector

along with the related terminology. I enjoy a sound family background in botany and have a strong personal interest in environmental issues, poetry, ethics and esoteric practices.

My love for foreign languages prompted me to get started also with Dutch and Spanish, whilst my passion for words and finding “the right” phrase has driven me to work as a full time translator.

In German we say "Man lernt nie aus!" ("There's always more to learn!") - a true word. Therefore, my mid-term goal is to take up and successfully complete my studies not only as a trained translator ("Staatlich geprüfte Übersetzerin") but also as a BA in International Business Communication (IBC).
